SAN DIEGO - The City of San Diego has received 235,000 complaints through its Get It Done app.
The complaints received through the app from January 1st through August 24th and cover a wide variety of infrastructure and quality of life issues. According to iNewsSource the area with the most complaints is parking violations with about 40,000 reports. Homeless encampments and illegal dumping round out the top three concerns reported by San Diego residents.
According to city data, 83 percent of complaints have been resolved. In terms of the parking issues, the city has set aside nearly three-million dollars in the propose budget to hire 23 new parking enforcement staff members.
