SAN DIEGO - The number of people ending up on the streets of San Diego remains high.
According to a new report from the San Diego Regional Task Force on Homelessness, 984 people became homeless in the county in November, a drop from October's record 1,343. The report says only about 600 people found housing, the majority of which rented a room.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported community assistance organizations also saw an uptick in clients in November.
This comes as a recent task force report shows that over the past year, for every 10 people who found housing, 13 became homeless.
