SAN DIEGO - A popular bar in North Park finds itself in trouble with the state again.
Polite Provisions on 30th Street is currently closed. A post on Instagram says the establishment is on winter break, but the state Alcoholic Beverage Control board says the bar's liquor license has been suspended for allowing patrons to leave with open alcoholic beverage containers.
NBC 7 reports this is the fourth time the bar has gotten in trouble with the state since 2016. Polite Provisions has apparently been cited for not posting a “no persons under 21 allowed” sign, not labeling beer spigots properly and for refilling liquor bottles.
Polite Provisions says it will reopen at the end of the month.
