MENIFEE - A mother abducted her eight and six-year-old children during a supervised visit in Menifee Saturday night and lead authorities on a high speed chase.
According to NBC 7, the woman's parents helped police track her down using her cell phone. The mother was driving a minivan at speeds of nearly 90 miles per hour in the rain as Menifee Police, then later Escondido Police chased her to the border, where she escaped into Tijuana.
The woman was arrested Sunday morning when she tried to re-enter the U.S. The kids are back home safe with their father.
