TIJUANA - The family of a Las Vegas woman fears she's gone missing in Mexico.
Zailey Unidad Flores, 21, who goes by Luna among other names, was last heard from on January 12th when she told her mother she was in Tijuana and was going to die. The family contacted police after Flores' supposed boyfriend shared screen shots from Facebook with her family, in which captors were asking for a $750 ransom.
The boyfriend claims the couple both went to Tijuana looking for an apartment, but became separated after Flores began acting strange. Flores, who has ties to communities in California and Arizona, apparently suffers from mental health issues and drug abuse.
The FBI and the U.S. Embassy in Tijuana are involved in the investigation.
