Nothing will ruin a 4th of July celebration faster, than Fluffy and/or Fido making a run for it.
By now, everyone knows many pets bolt when the fireworks start to go off, so if your dog or cat takes a runner, this is a great way to get them back. Click this link, for more info. The San Diego Humane Society is offering the microchips, but only through July 3rd.
Take advantage of it, you never know when your pet will get away from you.
Of course, securing your pets in the house is always the best option. No one wants to have to worry about a missing pet.
