RATS Invade Cars and Backyards in Normal Heights

Under the hood of a Normal Heights car was a creepy discovery: Rats.

And this actually happened to me once.  I was working in Brownsville, TX as a reporter for the ABC station. I drove a black Mazda that I really loved. One day in the parking lot I saw a huge rat run into a field. It freaked me out a little, but I quickly forgot about it. At the end of my shift I tried to start my trusty car and nothing happened... zilch... nada... no power at all. My cameraman, Eddie, popped the hood and that's when he let out a scream (kinda like a little girl). That huge rat, or one of his friends, was chewing through wires in my engine. Not good. When Eddie shrieked the rat scurried off and we were able to fix a few of the wires. Luckily -- my Mazda started again and I was on my way.... with a story I remember 25 years later!!!
