I have never seen another person, in living color, wearing blackface. In my entire life. So color me baffled by all this.
I grew up all over Texas, so maybe it wasn't a "thing," there?
I don't know the answer to this, but between a medical school yearbook featuring blackface and someone dolled-up as a member of the KKK...and Liam Neeson admitting to wanting to "cosh" a black man after someone he knew was raped 40 years ago, I certainly have more questions than I did just a week ago.
Maybe someone can explain it to me? I find it terribly disconcerting.
