Police are searching for the man they say hit and killed a pedestrian early Sunday morning in Sherman Heights.
According to police, the vehicle was traveling east on the 1800 block of Market Street where a pedestrian was either standing in the street or crossing the street just before 1:55 a.m.
Police say the suspect hit and killed the pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
The man then reportedly drove to a Humberto’s Taco Shop on the corner of Broadway and 25thStreet where he ordered food.
As he drove away, police say the suspect backed into a sedan and was confronted by two women before speeding off.
