Educational leaders from around the county will begin handing out meals for students today with schools closed because of the coronavirus.
Several school districts will be distributing free meals for students starting today. The meals are provided by Feeding San Diego and the San Diego Food Bank. Meals will include lunch and the next day’s breakfast. Distribution times for all locations will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, until schools reopen on April 6. Meals will generally be served grab-n-go style to avoid people congregating. Students are asked to eat the meals off-site. The meals will be handed out Monday through Friday from 11am to 1pm until schools reopen April 6th.
