Did You See the Bright Flash Over San Diego?

A bright light seen over San Diego last night has people wondering, "What the heck was that?" Several people reported seeing a bright green flash around 9:00 last night. It streaked across the sky for a couple of seconds.

Some people reported hearing an explosion, but many believe it could've been a meteor. The light was seen as far north as Santa Barbara and as far east as Arizona.

Did you see it? What do you think it was?

UPDATE*** Turns out it was a Bolide -- which is an extremely bright meteor that unleashes a flash when it explodes in earth's atmosphere. It apparently enter the atmosphere near Oceanside at 36,000 miles an hour. Thanks to NASA, mystery solved.
