People lined up to get a deal on gas as part of Carl DeMaio's fight to repeal California's Gas Tax Initiative. Regular gas was available for $1.99* a gallon on Monday February 5th.
The special event coincided with efforts to collect signatures from voters to place the Gas Tax Repeal Initiative on the November 2018 ballot for a vote.
People came out to the Carlsbad Shell on Palomar Airport Road and waited in line patiently to get their deal on gas.
