The San Diego Police Department has created a new Division to help with the ongoing homeless issue.
The Neighborhood Policing Division is bringing all their homeless outreach teams under one roof, covering the entire city, and working seven days a week.
They will be looking to get people off the streets through the use of social services, while also using enforcement measures if necessary.
The new Captain of the Neighborhood Policing Division, Scott Wahl, formerly the Department's Public Information Officer, gave KOGO News a rundown of the program.
