Truck Crash Cements A Long Morning San Diego Commute

Traffic was a mess this morning on Southbound 125 in La Mesa just before Spring Street.

Just after six a.m., a trailer carrying an 81 thousand cement block became detached from the big rig pulling it and crashed.

Two lanes were blocked and debris was sent onto the roadway below on Panorama Drive and railing on the bridge over Panorama needed to be replaced.

A crane was brought in to remove most of the concrete.

The crash only invovled the big rig, and miraculously, the driver wasn't hurt.
