Carlsbad police say a man who said he was a professional photographer met a 16 year old girl and sexually assaulted her.
The 16 year old told her father she went to a home in the 36 hundred block of Carlsbad Boulevard to meet with photographer 52 year old Robert Koester of Oregon on Monday of this week, November 12th.
He'd been hired by a Carlsbad based model agency, called Frank.
The girl and her father went to police, and they went to the address on Carsbad Boulevard and arrested Koester on charges including sexually battery. They also recovered evidence related to the crime.
Investigators believe Koester worked with many clients and used the aliases, Rhake Winter and Bert Kay.
The Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify additional victims or witnesses.

Koester was booked into the Vista Detention Facility for Battery with Great Bodily Injury, Sexual Battery, Possession of Child Pornography, and Providing Harmful Material to a Minor.
Koester posted bail and has been released until future court proceedings.
