Some ready to eat chicken nuggets are being recalled by Perdue Foods because they could contain pieces of wood.
The Perdue Simply Smart Organics Gluten Free Chicken Breast Nuggets are gluten free with a best by date of October 25th 2019.
- 22-oz. plastic bag packages of frozen “PERDUE SimplySmart ORGANICS BREADED CHICKEN BREAST NUGGETS GLUTEN FREE” with “Best By: Date 10/25/19” and UPC Bar Code “72745-80656” represented on the label.
The product subject to recall bears establishment number “P-33944” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The problem was discovered when three consumer complaints were filed.
