Sycuan is celebrating a new resort hotel and expansion with a Grand Opening Wednesday March 27th.
The Grand Opening follows the completion of a $250 million project that began in 2017. The expansion includes a 12-story luxury hotel tower with hundreds of rooms as well as new bars, restaurants, a full-service spa and sauna and an expansive pool with cabanas. Also built into the new resort is an adult-only pool and lazy river.
Sycuan Chairman Cody Martinez says the project means an estimated 700 new jobs, making it one of the largest employers in the East County.
