A :19 second video from the San Diego Zoo was the very first video ever posted on YouTube. It was on April 23, 2005 at 8:31pm when the site's co-founder Jawed Karim uploaded the video shot right here in San Diego.
The video, titled "Me at the Zoo," was recorded by Jawed's high school friend Yakov Lapitsky. Little did they know they were just about to change the world. Happy 15th Anniversary to YouTube.
