Sunday morning, they showed up by the hundreds...people from all over San Diego county, rolling into La Mesa to help cleanup, after Saturday's peaceful daytime protests turned more violent as the sun went down. Small businesses were targeted, along with banks in La Mesa...some burning, some looted and destroyed...Fast forward to today...a Go-Fund-Me has already raised more than 60 thousand dollars. it's called La Mesa Business Disaster Recovery, and was organized on behalf of the East County Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
