President Trump rode in a Secret Service motorcade outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and waved to supporters.
Trump's surprise drive by (VIDEO BELOW) was made after he posted a brief message on Twitter (SEE BELOW).
“It’s been a very interesting journey," Trump said in the video. "I learned a lot about COVID. I learned it by really going to school. This is the real school. This isn’t the let’s read the books school. And I get it, and I understand it. And it’s a very interesting thing.”
During a briefing Sunday, White House physician Dr Dean Conley said that the president "continued to improve" and said that he could be discharged from the hospital as early as Monday and would then continue his treatment at the White House.
The medical team said President Trump’s blood oxygen level dropped suddenly twice in recent days but the medical they did not provide details on how high his fever was before he was flown on Marine One on Friday to Walter Reed, or details on his lung function other than to say "as would be expected."
