SD Mayor Gloria Offers In-Person Learning to Immigrants Before San Diegans

As San Diego Unified students are currently learning in an online-only format, Todd Gloria brags to CNN about offering in-person classes to illegal immigrants that arrived this weekend at our Convention Center.

On Sunday, San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria joined CNN’s Pamala Brown to discuss the illegal immigrant children that were being housed at the San Diego Convention Center. During the interview with Brown, Gloria bragged about offering in-person classes to children that arrived this weekend - all while his own city's schools remain closed to American citizens.

San Diego Unified School District is home to over 100,000 students. These students haven’t been allowed in a classroom for over a year. Now, Teachers from SDUSD will be teaching illegal immigrant children inside of a classroom before their own students.

“Todd Gloria was more excited about turning over the keys to the Convention Center to the Biden administration than he is about securing our border,” Carl DeMaio stated. “He desperately wants to be a part of the ‘solution of inclusion,’ but he forgets that America is inclusive. We take a million legal immigrants into this country every year,” DeMaio continued.

Reopening our schools and businesses has been a continuous topic for the past year. Despite a growing push and desperate pleas from citizens to reopen, Democrats like Todd Gloria have told us that we can’t because it’s unsafe.

“Our city schools are still closed. Todd Gloria is trying to make us believe that if we comply with the countless union demands, maybe we can have an hour of instruction every few days,” DeMaio stated. “Illegal immigrant kids get to go to school, but somehow he doesn’t have the same ability to do that for kids all around the city,” DeMaio concluded.
