More school districts are starting to resume in-person classroom instruction in San Diego County.
Several school districts are welcoming kids back to class today, including the send-largest district in the state. San Diego Unified opened schools Monday morning after being shut down since March of last year. District officials say about three quarters of San Diego Unified schools will offer students four days of in-person instruction, while the other schools will provide two days a week, depending on the space in classrooms. SDUSD Board President Richard Barrera says about 50-percent of students district-wide are expected to return to classrooms.
