SAN DIEGO (KOGO) - San Diego comedian and radio personality Russ Stolnack, known professionally as Russ T. Nailz, has passed away. The Emmy award-winner burst onto the comedy scene in the 1970's and performed in numerous cities including Las Vegas. He was well known for his impressions.
Stolnack spent years on local radio including 91X and right here on Newsradio 600 KOGO. Most recently he made regular appearances on KUSI-TV and was a part of the station's Saturday talk and variety show On the Air with Sully and Little Tommy.
Stolnack died Wednesday at the age of 64.
