SAN DIEGO (KOGO) - A man has died after trying to climbing the U.S.-Mexico border wall near Otay.
The Border Patrol, San Diego Fire-Rescue and San Diego Police responded to an area West of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry around 5:00 a.m. Friday. San Diego Police say a man fell from the border wall and died at the scene. Five other people were injured and taken to the hospital but it's unclear if their injuries are related to fall from the border wall.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
