Shots Fired in Southeast San Diego Neighborhood

SAN DIEGO - A man is gravely injured following a shooting outside of a liquor store in Southeast San Diego.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday outside of Parr Liquor on Euclid Avenue where one man opened fire on another man after an argument. san Diego Police Department Lt. Steve Shebloski told reporting partner 10 News the shooting did not go unnoticed, and that witnesses have been interviewed. The department is also looking at security video from the area.

The victim is described as a Hispanic-American man. He was taken to the hospital but is not expected to survive his injuries. The suspect got away in a dark colored car. He's described as a heavy-set African-American man.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call San Diego Police.
