County Supervisor Hopes to Return to State Legislature

SAN DIEGO - County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher is setting his sights back on the State Capitol.

Fletcher is now running for the State Senate for District 39, which encompasses most of his supervisorial district, where he easily won re-election last fall. The Marine Corps veteran and Republican-turned-Democrat will be running to replace State Senate President Pro Tem Toni Atkins, who is termed out.

The former State Assemblyman has already raised $1 Million for the campaign and has endorsements from San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, Lemon Grove Mayor Racquel Vazquez and former State Senator Christine Kehoe.
