Saturday, Oct 28, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10am– 2pm ar multiple locations in San Diego County you can drop off your unwanted or expired prescription drugs.
The California Department of Public Health and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. You can prevent drug misuse and overdose by cleaning out your medicine cabinet and properly disposing of medications you no longer need.
If you cannot make it to National Drug Take Back Day, many pharmacies offer year-round drug disposal.
