California is providing 80-million-dollars in security grants to nonprofits following this month's deadly attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego.
Governor Gavin Newsom says 343 organizations will receive funding through the California Nonprofit Security Grant Program, including 228 faith-based groups.
The money will help pay for security upgrades such as surveillance systems, alarms, lighting, and reinforced doors.
