New Census data confirmed that of all major cities in the U.S., San Francisco still has the lowest percentage of families with kids under 18.
The San Francisco Chronicle analyzed data from the most recent U.S. Census to confirm that only 13% of the city's population is 18 years old or under. The map below shows which sections of the city have the lowest and highest concentration of children (the darker the blue, the more kids reside in that area).
