Read President Trump's Letter To Nancy Pelosi About Impeachment

The White House has released the 6-page letter sent by President Donald Trump to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. The letter is now available online here.

The letter, which calls the impeachment proceedings "invalid," was sent in anticipation of the historic vote to take place by the full House on two articles of impeachment against President Trump.

"By proceeding with your invalid impeachment, you are violating your oaths of office, you are breaking your allegiance to the Constitution, and you are declaring open war on American Democracy," Trump writes. "You dare to invoke the Founding Fathers in pursuit of this election-nullification scheme - yet your spiteful actions display unfettered contempt for America's founding and your egregious conduct threatens to destroy that which our Founders pledged their very lives to build."

In a 658-page report, the House Judiciary Committee has accused Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The document, which is divided into four parts, outlines the process followed by House investigators into the July 25th phone call between Trump and the newly-elected president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Meanwhile, cities across the nation are organizing #impeachmenteve rallies and the hashtag is trending worldwide.
