OB Victim Identified After Falling Into The Ocean

A 23-year-old woman has been identified as the person who died when a large wave swept her off of the rocks at Ocean Beach over the weekend.  Police say Adriana Toro was with a friend Saturday night when they were pushed into the water.

It took lifeguards about 40 minutes to pull Toro from the water, which was covered in sea foam.  She died later that night at the hospital.

By the time lifeguards got to the end of Bacon Street, a good samaritan had already rescued the woman with Toro.  That woman is expected to recover.
