A man is dead, and another man is in custody, after a hit-and-run crash in Spring Valley. It happened when a 75-year-old man's stepdaughter dropped him off near the intersection of Sweetwater Road and Troy Street around 10:00 Tuesday night.
The man was running across the street when he was hit by a car, and died.
Police say the driver of the car, 18-year-old Andrew Thouzen of El Cajon, left the scene, but returned a short time later. He was taken into custody. Police are still investigating.
