A second day of searching for an El Cajon teen who disappeared Sunday while swimming with friends in Mission Beach. The 17-year-old and four friends were all in the water when they got caught in a rip current.
Two of the teens were able to get out themselves, lifeguards rescued two of the other teens, and one teen is still missing.
Lifeguards, a helicopter and Scuba divers searched for several hours Sunday, before calling off the search around 7:30 when it became too dark. At sunrise Monday, the search is expected to continue.
