A North Park man missing for nearly two weeks has been found dead. The family of 32-year old David Bernal-Medina say his body was found Tuesday afternoon in overgrown vegetation near where the I-8 meets the I-805. That's the same area his wrecked SUV was found 12 days earlier.
Family and friends say they're upset police didn't find his body earlier, considering he was just feet from where his wrecked SUV was found. The medical examiner will determine how he died, but investigators don't believe his death to be suspicious.
