Windansea Beach Opened After Sewage Spill

Windansea Beach is opened, following last week's closure because of a sewage spill.  Two-thousand feet of the coastline at the La Jolla beach had been closed since Thursday after about a thousand gallons of raw sewage spilled into the water.

The spill was caused by a busted pipe at a nearby pump-station.  That's now been fixed and officials with the County of San Diego's Department of Environmental Health reopened the beach.
