An Amber Alert is in effect in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties because of the abduction of a 1-year-old girl by her father in Rancho Cucamonga, authorities said. Lexi Segura was abducted around 5:30p.m. Monday by her 38-year-old father, Daniel Segura, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.
The two are believed to be traveling in a red 2012 Mitsubishi Galant with the license plate 6WEE209, and deputies did find that car in Pomona.
Lexi is Hispanic, 3 feet tall, about 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a baby blue shirt with gold writing, blue jeans and pink shoes, authorities said.
Daniel Segura is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, a dark baseball cap and blue jeans, authorities said. He has numerous tattoos on his arms and neck.
