Video: Hiking Safety Tips in San Diego

A father and his two daughters will return to San Diego Friday, after being stranded on a Mexico mountain since Sunday.  The three were found by a helicopter Tuesday on Devil's Peak in Baja California.

Following that rescue, the Sheriff's Department has released a video about hiking safety, particularly for two of San Diego's most dangerous areas: Cedar Creek Falls and Three Sisters Falls.

The Sheriff's Department teamed up with Cal Fire and the US Forest Service to make the safety video. They say just this month, there have been more than 50 rescue calls from hiking trails in San Diego.
