A woman was forcibly removed by two police officers from a Southwest flight from to Los Angeles from Baltimore Tuesday after she said she had a life-threatening pet allergy and wanted animals on the flight removed.
A spokesman for Southwest says the woman could not show any medical documents proving that she had an allergy to animals. Airline officials say the woman said she needed to be on the flight because her father was having surgery. However the airline said the woman was unable to provide the necessary documentation to prove her allergy and that she was warned that if she could not travel safely on the plane with animals, she would have to leave the plane.
