Another person has died from Hepatitis A in San Diego.
The latest report brings the death toll from the Hep A outbreak since last November to 19.The county health agency says the number of total confirmed cases has risen to 507 with about 350 of those people having been hospitalized at one point.
Health officials have said it could take many months or even longer before the hepatitis a outbreak will be ended. Meantime, efforts continue to vaccinate at risk people and the sanitizing of streets and sidewalks continues in areas where homeless people congregate. (photo credit SD County HHSA)
