Equifax Finds Additional 2.4 Million Impacted by 2017 Data Breach

Equifax has announced that an additional 2.4 million Americans have been affected by last year's data breach.

The company said today it has identified more accounts from which hackers stole partial driver's license information.

Equifax claims the big majority of the cases did not expose home addresses, the states where the licenses were issued, or issuance and expiration dates.

Around 148 million people, or about 45% of the U.S. population, has now been affected by the breach.
