Caravan of Central American Migrants Makes it to U.S. Mexico Border

A caravan of immigrants is now at the U.S. Mexico border.  About 400 men, women and children arrived in Tijuana, Mexico Tuesday, which is about a half-hour from San Diego.

Organizers say about half of the caravan is resting up at a shelter, before making their way to the port of entry in about a week, to turn themselves over to the Border Patrol and ask for asylum.

President Trump Tweeted on Monday he's instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security to deny them from getting into the country.  Officials say anyone seeking asylum will be detained and their claims investigated.
