The Alliance of American Football has announced that San Diego will field one of their eight teams as they prepare for their inaugural season in February.
The league will start play the week after the Super Bowl, with five home games at SDCCU Stadium in Mission Valley, and former NFL Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz, a San Diego native, will coach the local team.
Charlie Ebersol, the founder and CEO of the League, gave KOGO News a rundown of what to expect.
