The Family Role In Helping An Addicted Teenager

A family outreach treatment specialist says the family has a big role  to play in whether a young person stays sober. She says if your teenager is addicted to anything, seek a professional. You can hear our interview below.

A symposium  in California this weekend focuses on the the nationwide addiction epidemic.

Diana Clark is a family outreach specialist at Turnbridge in New Haven Connecticut, which is a treatment program.

Diana says parents need to seek a professional if their child is into drugs, and says the family has an important role in how the teenager or young adult progresses and stays sober.You can hear our interview below.
