The new Top Gun movie is reuniting its two biggest stars. The Hollywood Reporter says Val Kilmer will be reprising his role as Iceman, which made him famous in 1986. Previously announced, Tom Cruise will return as ace fighter pilot Maverick in Top Gun: Maverick, which is currently in production in San Diego.
Shooting has taken place a Naval Air State North Island in Coronado. Iceman and Maverick were adversaries in the original hit film, but eventually joined forces.
58-year-old Kilmer recently sent a message to Cruise on Instagram, saying he "still got the moves!"
Now, the question remains... will Kenny Loggins be back to sing Danger Zone? (He says...maybe.)
