Video: Brush Fire In San Pasqual Valley Prompts Evacuations

A temporary evacuation center was set up Monday afternoon at San Pasqual High School for residents who needed to leave their homes due to a brush fire burning in the San Pasqual Valley, not far from the San Diego Safari Park.

Guests at the park are also being evacuated as a result of the brush fire, named "Clover Fire"  which has burned about 80 acres and also prompted the shut down of a portion of State Route 78. See the latest information below.

The fire started near the intersection of San Pasqual Rd. and Cloverdale and quickly jumped SR78 as it burns northwest.

The temporary evacuation center at the high school is located on Bear Valley Parkway.
