Fleet Science Center Opens Early For Kids With Autism

On the third Saturday of every month, the Fleet invites adults and families who have children with autism to enjoy early access to the exhibit galleries in a quieter setting an hour before the Fleet opens to the public. The center will be open at 9 a.m. this Saturday, the 18th.

Admission includes access to a special cool-off space and a special IMAX film screening at 10 a.m. with the house lights on and a lower soundtrack volume. Visitors are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum all day. Time: Early access to galleries 9-10 a.m. Special IMAX showing at 10 a.m. Cost: Regular admission rates apply.
