Hundreds Of Doctors In San Diego to Talk Plant Based Medicine

Hundreds of health care professionals are in San Diego this weekend for a conference on plant based medicine on how food can help the patient.

Dr. Scott Stoll out of Pennsylvania is the co-founder of the Plantrician Project.

He says the exponential growth of this conference highlights the fact healthcare providers are beginning to recognize that one of the best solutions to today's healthcare crisis is a value-based, lifestyle intervention rooted in a whole food, plant-based dietary lifestyle.”

He says the cost of healthcare is directly linked to the choices we make.

He says research shows if you eat animal fat in excess, they can contribute to disease.
