How A Warrior Helps Veterans And First Responders

A Special Forces Green Beret is using his life experiences in combat and treatment to help other veterans and first responders.

Tom Spooner opened the Warriors Heart residential treatment center in Texas.

He describes how hours of combat and a brain injury impacted his life and how he is now helping others.

He is dedicated  to reducing the average of 20 veteran suicides per day in the US and 1 Law Enforcement Officer suicide every 62.5 hr by helping warriors overcome their "War At Home."

According to the VA (Veterans Administration), there was an average of 6,079 veteran suicide-related deaths in 2016, and that is unacceptable to Spooner and his team
