9-Year-Old Gets Away From Possible Abductor in Santee

Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a man accused of trying to get a 9-year-old girl into his car in Santee. It happened around 6:00p.m. Thursday when the girl was riding her bike on Poplin Drive.

She told deputies that the man drove up to her and asked her if she would like a "ride to a game."The girl said she was scared and biked away. There were no injuries reported.

The driver is described as a white man, 60-70-years-old with white hair wearing a red hat and chrome sunglasses. He was driving a silver '80's or early 90's Chevy Corvette with T-Tops.
