Have you noticed? There seems to be more complaining going on about our weather in San Diego.
This is the month of May and May Gray weather is not unusual and it certainly is the kind of weather we’ve had a lot of this month, with lots of clouds at times and frequent rain, even if it is light rain.
And with the National Weather Service now expecting the also not so unusual June Gloom conditions coming at least for the first part of next month, there will probably be even more complaints about San Diego’s weather.
But we should be careful to complain too much. This is tornado and flooding season in the Midwest and while we may complain about the above average rainfall we’ve had this year, there is a lot more to complain about in Oklahoma, for instance, and other states that are dealing with severe thunderstorms and tornado watches and lots of flooding.
The national meteorologists were saying this morning that more than 4-million people were considered to be under severe weather threat today in the lower Midwest and Plain states.
They’d love to be able to complain about May gray and June gloom. But then that’s our burden to deal with now isn’t it?
